you will also need the following items with your application.
- Recreational boat licence issued by your state authority
- first - aid certificate
- 8 hrs of sea time on a commercial vessel
- Doctors declaration of medical fitness
- AMSA form 1882 -Declaration by observer
- AMSA application form 426
